At the beginning of every match, both players enter a draft phase. You receive multiple cards and decide which ones to keep or replace before kick-off. This moment allows you to adapt your strategy, prepare your opening moves and react to your opponent’s potential playstyle.

During the game, players place attacking and defensive cards to increase their pressure and create opportunities on the pitch. Every card has a time cost. This shared timer is used by both players during the match, meaning every action impacts the global rhythm of the game. Playing too aggressively can leave you exposed, while waiting too long can allow your opponent to take control. Managing tempo, pressure and timing is the core of One Touch.
